MSI today presented two new laptops, the X460 and X460DX. These laptops are the latest additions to MSI’s X-Slim series which features under an inch thick and come with a metal alloy chassis with an ‘aerodynamic feather pattern’, a chiclet keyboard and a 14-inch (1366 x 768) LED-backlit display. Both are based on Intel’s Huron River mobile platform, run Windows 7 and support for the Intel Wireless Display technology.

The MSI X460 and X460DX boasts a 2.0 GHz Core i5-2410M or 2.3 GHz Core i7-2630QM processor, integrated Intel HD 3000 (X460) or Nvidia GeForce GT 540M card with 1GB of dedicated memory (X460DX), DDR3 memory, up to a 750GB hard drive, a DVD writer, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, a 4-in-1 card reader, two USB 3.0 ports, THX TruStudio Pro audio, D-Sub and HDMI outputs, and a 6-cell battery enabling up to 8 hours of operation per charge.
