Gigabyte S1080-CF1 tablet PC has now available on pre-order in the US for $649. The tablet is claimed to start shipping on July 1st. In case you forget about it, The S1080 runs Windows 7 Home Premium OS, has a 10.1-inch (1024 x 600) capacitive touchscreen and powered by a 1.66 GHz Atom N570 dual-core CPU.

Gigabyte S1080-CF1 specs include 2GB of RAM, a 320GB of hard drive capacity, an SD card slot, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, a USB 3.0 port, and a D-Sub output, and a 4000mAh battery.

HP officially announced that WiFi-only version of HP TouchPad will be availale in the US at July 1st. The 2 models with 16 GB and 32 GB capacities have price tag of $499.99 and $599.99. To refresh your mind, the Touchpad will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-CPU APQ8060 1.2-GHz processor and 1GB of RAM, it also features a 9.7-inch (1024 x 768) capacitive touchscreen, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, a front-facing 1.3 megapixel webcam, stereo speakers backed by Beats Audio technology, a micro-USB port, an accelerometer, a compass, a gyroscope, a light sensor and a 6300 mAh battery.

Toshiba has rolled out their new Windows 7 slate tablet, the WT310 in the Japanese market. The tablet has a 11.6″ multi-touch display (1,366×768 pixels screen resolution), boasts Intel Atom Z670 (1.50GHz) processor with integrated graphics and runs Windows 7 Professional (32bit/SP1). Toshiba WT310 aslo features 2GB of RAM, 64GB SSD, 3MP camera on back, 1MP front camera, LAN, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, card reader, 6 hours battery life and HDMI.

A consumer electronics company from France, Archos is already setting up a plan to release their Gen 9 series of tablets in June for 400 euros (about $566). The ARCHOS Gen 9 will runs Android 3.0 Honeycomb and powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 CPU. Comes with stylish, slim design with lighter construction this new Honeycomb slates also features a ‘new’ 3G modem, 3G radio and up to a 250GB hard drive or 32GB SSD.
