Panasonic has just introduced the LUMIX DMC-LS5, a new entry-level digital camera from Panasonic with 26mm Wide Angle F2.8 Lens. The LUMIX LS5 offers 14.1 Megapixel with 5x optical zoom lens, can capture 1280×720p HD video at 30fps, as well as VGA and QVGA video. The compact 14.1 Megapixel camera features Panasonic’s Intelligent Auto (iA) mode that offers Optical Image Stabilization, Face Detection, Intelligent Scene Selector functions. It requires AA batteries to work. Panasonic LUMIX DMC-LS5 will be available in black in November.

Samsung got just the answer, as its new Samsung W200 is offering all features outdoor activities need. Samsung W200 has a pocket size with its 60 x 113 x 19.7 mm dimension. Besides, this camcorder is also capable of recording 1920 x 1080 HD videos at 30fps.
Another feature and outdoor-able gadget should have is solid and tough material, which is also another feature of this upcoming Samsung W200 has solid and tough material, the durable and tough shell is combined with dust-proof and waterproof, and shockproof feature that is capable of withstanding fall from 2 meters. The anti-fog that coats the camcorder’s lens makes sure that the video taken are clear and un-blur. In general, Samsung W200 comes with 2.3-inch LCD screen, 5MP Back Side Illuminated CMOS sensor, micro-SD card slot for external memory, and USB ports.
Recently, Toshiba has unveiled their newest models in camcorder lineups; indeed, the above titled might sound like new laptop, but they are not. The two latest camcorder models, Toshiba Camileo P100 and B10, are included into pocket-friendly camcorder, and they come with high-end specifications. Both are capable of recording full HD videos with 1920 x 1080 resolution @ 30 fps, and 16MP still shots.
Although announced at the same time, Toshiba Camileo P100 and B10 come with several different features but the above ones. Toshiba P100, for instance, is equipped with 8MP CMOS sensor and 3-inch touch-screen; this camcorder also supports up to 64GB external cards, a mini HDMI output and USB 2.0 ports. The lens of this P100 supports 8-times optical zoom, motion detector, and face tracking. Between Toshiba Camileo P100 and B10, Toshiba B10 might come with less advanced technology due to its 5MP camera with CMOS sensor, and other features. Both camcorder models are expected to be available next month. No pricing info at the moment.

Dubbed as Panasonic HM-TA20, the compact tough HD camcorder capable to capture images in 8 megapixel still shots, recording full HD video (1920×1080 pixel) and available in blue and orange color option. No pricing info available so far.
