Quanta Computer, a Taiwanese notebook maker will become the manufacturer of the upcoming RIM’s BlackBerry BlackPad. The Android-powered tablet PC will be launched in November 2010 with suggested price at US$499.

BlackBerry BlackPad will features Bluetooth, Wi-Fi as well as 3G connection.  Quanta Computer will start shipping orders in September with volumes to reach two million units in 2010 and eight million units in 2011.

AT&T and RIM getting ready to launch its Blackberry Torch on the 12th of the month for $199.99 on contract. The RIM’s first slider smartphone features a 480×360 capacitive touch screen, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and the new BlackBerry 6 operating system includes a powerful WebKit browser.
