Everyone who has been using BluRay system for their computers would be glad to hear about new writer from Buffalo. The company is now preparing the production and also launching of the product of Buffalo BRXL-PC6U2 Portable Blu-ray Writer, which is a second BluRay writer – external drive one – which supports for the new BDXL standard. BDXL standard means that the device is able to accommodate 100GB/128GB Blu-ray discs, provides write speeds of 6x for BD-R SL/DL (single-layer/dual-layer), 4x for BD-R 3-layer/4-layer, 2x for BD-RE, 8x for DVD-R/+R/+RW, 6x for DVD-R/+R DL and DVD-RW, 5x for DVD-RAM, 24x for CD-R and 16x for CD-RW.

Measuring 145 x 153 x 19mm and weighs around 340 grams, Buffalo BRXL-PC6U2 also comes with two USB 2.0 connection interfaces for more stable writing process. This new device will be available in Japan first by the end of March and with the price of $275. Anyone interested to buy?
