CeBIT held this year might miss the first debut of Asus’ BW-12D1S-U, as it has already been revealed before this yearly event. Currently, this Blu-ray writer has been officially released, and is scheduled to be available within few weeks. Although comes with standard feature of a Blu-ray writer, Asus’ BW-12D1S-U might be featuring more advanced technology than other brands. This Blu-ray device is able to speed up to 12times for Blu-ray disk.

Asus’ BW-12D1S-U is also capable of smoothing playback, due to OTS (Optical Tuning Strategy) technology equipped inside the writer device. Although has not been officially released, several images of Asus’ BW-12D1S-U are available in PC review websites. There are also some (unofficial) feature and specs of this Blu-ray writer, as its elegant diamond-shaped design to allow vertical and horizontal use. Black coating that is usually used in piano’s finishes makes this writer device much more elegant and sexy.
